The tray of this boot washer is covered with two hot-dip galvanised gratings with a central cut-out. An automatic water stop valve is attached to the front of the cut-out, which is operated with the tip of the foot. Lateral flushing pipes conduct the water over the brushes to the footwear. A water-bearing stainless steel hand brush (with shut-off via a hand lever quick closing valve) allows additional manual cleaning of the boot shaft or other objects to be cleaned. A drain integrated in the stainless steel tub of the boot cleaner with sludge trap and odour trap enables optimum water drainage and separate collection of coarse dirt. The front grate can be removed for easy cleaning of the boot washer and emptying of the sludge trap.
The boot washer fire station allows a first-class cleaning of the footwear. The water supply is opened by operating a foot valve. The water hits the bristles and footwear on all sides through small spray nozzles, which are mounted in a U-shaped water pipe above the brushes. The resulting water flow softens the dirt on the footwear. If the boot is now rubbed in the lower and side brushes, the dirt dissolves effortlessly and is drained into the collecting tray by the flowing water.
The boot washer is installed at ground level, on the floor. Adjustable feet provide a secure footing. The railing offers additional protection and support possibilities. As an option, a version with holding bracket is available instead of the railing.
The water connection must comply with the regulations of the responsible waterworks. The European standard DIN EN 1717 is the guideline here, supplemented by national standards. The drinking water installation must be carried out exclusively by an authorised specialist company. When connecting to the drinking water system, an approved system separator / pipe separator must be considered (not included in the delivery).
