ProfilGate i55 - made completely out of stainless steele

The ProfilGate® i55 replaces the hot dipped galvanized grates with pressed grates made from stainless steel which have a plain and finer surface. This results in smoother movement, especially for smaller /and or harder wheels. It comes, like all i-series models, with pressed grates made from stainless steel offering a plain / smooth surface.

At just 55 mm high, the cleaning grates are either inserted at ground level or positioned on flat ramps to be driven over. This will create a cleaning area that all vehicles have to pass through. Dirt is removed by hot-dipped grating with special brush strips and then collected in stainless steel trays. The special brushes (patent-protected) are positioned at an angle, enabling them to automatically and mechanically clean the tread of wheels, rollers and tyres.

With a height of just 55 mm, ProfilGate cleaning grates for pedestrians and vehicles (can withstand total loads of up to 40 t), can also be installed in hall entrances restrospectively. Patent-protected brushes clean the tyres while the vehicles drive over the cleaning grates without losing any time. Removed dirt is collected in trays located underneath the grating. The trays can be easily cleaned by removing the grating. All dirt falls into the trays, which prevents it from being picked back up again by the next vehicle.

To ensure effective tyre cleaning, we recommend that the tyre treads come into contact with the brushes at least three times. This will remove 90% of dirt!

The i55 model features an additional, 10-mm high tray beneath the brush strips for collecting dirt, which means that the system can be cleaned less often.
