The drying cabinet offers a reliable and user-friendly solution for organisations with regular
professional PPE drying requirements. The
sensor control automatically adjusts the air flow and temperature to the moisture level of the clothing and automatically stops the process once drying is complete. It is operated via a
multilingual touch panel with icon guidance. There are
2 drying programmes to choose from:
Normal for older or padded workwear at a lower temperature, and
Impregnation for newer protective clothing with an impregnation layer, which uses a higher temperature to reactivate the surface. Drying takes place
without mechanical movement, which protects membranes and sensitive materials.
The robust construction made of
galvanised, powder-coated steel offers reliable protection against corrosion and ensures a long service life even under demanding operating conditions. The cabinet comes standard with
4 removable, ventilated clothes hangers. These ensure even
airflow through the clothing from the inside to the outside, even with thick and multi-layered garments. Holders for drying the inside of boots and drying nozzles for gloves or masks are available on request. In addition, glove holders can be added to the inside of the doors on request.
The drying cabinet is designed for use in heated
indoor areas with temperatures above 15 °C. The closed negative pressure system keeps the air hygienically clean and prevents moisture or unpleasant odours from escaping, which is a significant advantage in changing rooms, vehicle depots or operations centres. The moist air is discharged via an exhaust air hose (Ĝ 125 mm) and can be easily connected to an existing exhaust air system. The four lint filters are easy to remove and clean.
The cabinet is usually supplied without a power cable. It requires heavy
current (400 V / 3 phases / 6200 W) and should be professionally
connected directly by an electrician and fitted with an appropriate
cable and plug. The drying cabinet is delivered assembled on a pallet.
Delivery is by lorry to the kerbside.
