This means that because this boot washer is integrated in standard grating, it can be installed in various ways, for example directly into manhole/pit covers. The Boot washer combined with steel grating offers high flexibility when it comes to its place of installation. Other grating sizes are available by
request.
There is no risk of accidents with the completely immersed model, because when the boot washer is covered, it is not possible to trip over it. Stability during use is achieved using a support bar made from high-grade steel which is attached to the machine.
The Boot washer combined with steel grating uses a hard brush for the soles and two softer brushes on the sides for efficient cleaning of the footwear. There is an automatic water stopping valve fitted to the front of the basin, which is activated by using the foot. When the user presses on the button with for example the tip of his shoe/boot, water will flow from the spraying jet nozzles for 15 seconds.
At the front of the basin, an automatic water valve is attached, which is controlled with the tip of the foot. The water reaches the brushes and footwear from all sides through small spray nozzles. After this, the footwear is scrubbed from all angles to get rid of every last bit of dirt. The foot valve has an adjustable flow rate of 7, 15 or 30 seconds, so water consumption can be reduced where possible.
We offer the following optional components: Single dimension angle frame made of 35x5 angle iron in galvanised version and lateral concrete anchors approx. 50 mm long for mounting on the raw concrete.
The water connection must comply with the regulations of the responsible waterworks. The European standard DIN EN 1717 is the guideline here, supplemented by national standards. The drinking water installation must be carried out exclusively by an authorised specialist company. When connecting to the drinking water system, an approved system separator / pipe separator must be considered (not included in the delivery).
