The Technology behind the wheel-cleaning system ProfilGate

Good is not good enough – that´s why we have made ProfilGate even better! We have redeveloped the brush strips, the central element of the ProfilGate, for an even better cleaning and functionality. The new brush strips are easy to replace and fit all previously supplied versions.

Thanks to the brand new and improved brush strips, now more than 90% of built-up dirt from tyres is removed - achieved by just driving over the cleaning area.

			Bristles The bristles of the ProfilGate system have been designed to ensure the best possible cleaning performance. The patented inclination of the brushes assure the best possible cleaning effect, by scratching of the dirt mechanically, as soon as a load is applied. The irregular long bristle-ends scratch deeply into the profiles and clean them reliably. Thanks to the bright blue colour, everyone can also clearly recognize where the clean zone(s) begin.
			Brush strips The brush strips have an inherent tension, which pushes the brushes above the top of the grate for up to 15 mm. Their flexible fixation in combination with the inclined brushes makes them vibrate when vehicles drive over it. The vibration lets the dirt fall into the stainless steel bin (capturing tray) underneath. To protect the brushes, they automatically retract downwards below the grate, as soon as a load is applied.
			Material The brush bodies are co-extruded from hard and soft PVC. The rigid PVC ensures that the brush bodies maintain their inherent tension, in order to assure always the same pressure between bristles and profiles. The additional use of plasticized PVC, in the upper part of the brushbodies lead to a reduced noise emission when driving over the cleaning field.
			Profiled body The brush bodies have a specific shape, which ensures that even big dirt particles or small stones can drop into the stainless trays, easily, after passing the top edge. The combination of slim brush bodies with their inherent tension and the patented inclination of the brushes lead automatically to an active and sound cleaning experience.
			Roof-shaped body The upper part of the brush body has the shape of an angled roof. This allows liquids and dirt particles to run off to the sides and drop down into the tray more easily. The small brush bodies with a width of only 22 mm allows dirt particles up to 8 mm, to drop down directly into the tray, instead of remaining on top of the brushes.
