Condensation drying is considered to be particularly energy-efficient and gentle on textiles. As neither heating rods nor fans are used, the fabric structure is preserved, even with delicate or multi-layered clothing. This significantly extends the life of the textiles. The drying cabinet dries evenly and quietly and can be used from a room temperature of 7 °C, which significantly reduces heating energy and operating costs. The average drying time is around 60 minutes for 6-8 kg of laundry.

The closed drying system directs circulating air over the suspended textiles, extracts the moisture from them and uses only the waste heat from the compressor to heat them, which saves up to 50% energy. The moist air is condensed on a cooling element in the upper part of the cabinet and the condensation water is automatically drained into the waste water system via the 3 m hose supplied. An external exhaust air connection or separate water tank is not required. Especially in unheated or poorly ventilated rooms, condensation drying reliably prevents increased humidity and thus possible mould growth.

There are two drying programmes to choose from: Normal and Extra dry. The appliance switches off automatically at the end of the programme. The cabinet has automatic temperature control and humidity detection by means of a thermostat and sensor, as well as interior lighting, a touch panel and a multilingual programme selection. A child safety lock can also be activated.

The robust construction made of powder-coated, galvanised steel is durable, moisture-resistant and corrosion-proof. The equipment includes 4 swing-out clothes hangers, each with 5 stainless steel rods, which can be hung with clothes, linen, bath towels, bed linen etc. as required. Together, these 20 extendable stainless steel arms give a total drying length of 18 metres. Optional glove holders for the inside of the doors are available on request.

Cleaning and maintenance are uncomplicated: Only the air filter in the upper cabinet area should be cleaned regularly with the brush supplied. The filter is easy to remove. The cabinet is supplied without a power cable as standard. The scope of delivery comprises two parts; a cabinet section in the lower area and an upper section. All technical components are installed in the upper part. It requires heavy current (400 V / 3 phases / 2300 W) and should be professionally connected by an electrician and fitted with a suitable cable and plug. Delivery is by lorry to the kerbside.
