Compared to normal entrance turnstiles, a full-height turnstile offers significantly higher protection and reliably prevents people from climbing over or bypassing the barrier. This makes it ideal for sensitive hygiene areas in food processing plants, production facilities with high security requirements or access control in outdoor areas where controlled passage is essential.

The full-height turnstile is made entirely of high-quality stainless steel 1.4301 and thanks to its high corrosion resistance it is also suitable for use in wet and outdoor areas. While conventional entrance turnstiles regulate access, a full-height portal turnstile guarantees secure separation of individuals. This effectively prevents unauthorised access, as it is impossible to bypass or climb over the barrier.
People move the turnstile to the next home position with minimal effort. The rotation speed automatically adjusts to the person passing through. If no one passes through, the clearance is automatically deleted after a preset time, which is ideal for access control in heavily frequented areas.
The full-height turnstile is available in three versions (see options). The mechanical version offers a particularly robust and low-maintenance solution for simple applications without electronics. The single-sided electric version is suitable when only one direction needs to be specifically controlled, while the return path remains mechanically blocked. The double-sided electric version is the most convenient choice for heavily frequented entrances, as both directions can be controlled electronically and can be optimally integrated into existing access or hygiene systems.
